Check 23

Day 31
Remember when I issued myself a little challenge here?

Well, it has been 31 days and it's time for a little evaluation.

Has my photography gotten any better? Well, I don't really know. I've tried a couple new things, like self portraiture and night photography, however I don't think I've done enough of either of these things to really say that I've gotten skilled at them.

It has been 31 days, but I would still like to continue to learn and practice. Unfortunately, with a relatively long work day, I don't have hours to devote to taking photos and editing them. So, I would like more time to learn and practice. That said, let's extend this another month for now. We'll take it one month at a time and go from there. :)

What do you think? Have you seen any improvement? Backsliding? Suggestions for subject matter or just in general? I love a good constructive critique.

  1. You seem to be photographing hosh-posh subjects here-and-there, kinda like on-the-spur-of-the-moment pics. A suggestion - maybe a theme-a-week, like, park-n-animal pics one week, self-portraits another, things-u-never-noticed around home-or-th'neighborhood, nite-lites (with your star filter) another, or lining-up your 'wares' (jewelry and/or bowties - anyway of finding out how many hits you get on your Etsy site?)... or maybe friend-portraits.... just throwing these out.

You may ask yourself... of the pics I took in Days 1-31, which ones didn't 'make-it' on my 8-10 'close-to-wowie' list? How would you redo them to make'em what you thought you were taking the first time?

Anyway you look at'em, I love getting snapshots of your goings-on's any-which-a-way you take'em-and-share'em... love from th'Singapore-front (home) :)
